The AIA 2026 Design Awards are breaking the mold to celebrate every facet of spatial storytelling, from unbuilt concepts and ADUs to historic renovations. The Design Awards generally takes place every other year with the event including dinner, a speaker and the presentation of award-winning projects. 2026 Awards event will take place in the Thinker Maker Space at Vita Art Center in downtown Ventura on Friday November 6th, 5pm – 8pm.

Licensed AIA Members: $100
Licensed Non-AIA Members: $200
Student Submissions: FREE (Sponsored by AIAVC)
All Other Submissions (Artists, Fabricators, Novices, etc.): FREE

Award Track is an OPEN Design Submittal — There are no fixed categories to select upon submission
