Prometric test centers have implemented a new security measure to improve your exam experience. During the check-in process, you will receive a yellow-colored locker key tag. The yellow tag serves as a visual reminder (to both you and the test center administrator) that you may access your locker during your administration, but only to retrieve food, drink, or medicine.

You can review NCARB’s testing policies in the ARE 4.0 Guidelines or ARE 5.0 Guidelines.

As a reminder, accessing any materials other than food, drink, or medicine is prohibited throughout your testing appointment, unless preapproved through the testing accommodations process. Accessing prohibited items may result in the cancellation of your exam score and forfeiture of exam fees, as well as further action as outlined in the candidate Policy and Procedure for Testing Irregularities.
